The 'In Bloom Scarf' is a high summer celebration of Tropical exotic florals, mixed with the eerie phenomena of 'Half Dolls'.
The creepy Porcelaine dolls were popular between 1900- 1920, they are generally 2 - 6 inches big. With the bottom half missing, collectors would use them on top of cakes, or in pin cushions.
Klements found another use for them, merging and growing from our tropical rainbow fauna, creating our surreal landscape.
